WHAT MAKES THIS COURSE UNIQUE?
CARLIJN NELISSEN.
Human behaviour fascinates me, hence my 2 Masters in Organizational Psychology, and Organizational Behaviour, Culture & Management. I am intrigued by what makes people and teams thrive and what leaves them stuck or declining.
With my team as a Managing Partner of Innovation Booster Greece and with the 400+ teams, leaders, and founders I have worked with over the last decade, I have had the opportunity to observe and experiment with what makes people come alive and secures business impact. As well as my role as a leader. Knowing it in theory, or coaching others, is different than doing it yourself every day because, in the end, it's about facing yourself.
I was in my way whenever I acted as I thought I was "supposed to do". In my mission to meet the expectations of others, I was (unconsciously) proving & pleasing my way through life. My ego was seeking guarantees, validation & avoiding rejection. It was never enough (to me). I ignored my gut feeling in key decisions. It left me feeling stuck, frustrated & drained. It negatively affected my work, my health & my relationships.
I have learned a calmer way of being powerful. Not with control, tension, and unproductive drive, but through trust, and real connection with myself, others & nature. To know how I can create the right conditions for my bold, wise, kind, authentic self to rise to the occasion (vs fear-based ego on the steering wheel).
I continue to question the way I live & work. Growing the inner space to be me, unapologetically. I live off-grid, on a small homestead, learning about and how to live in harmony with natural ecosystems.
My role is to challenge the way we view the world. More specifically, the emerging future of regeneration, self-organization, human leadership, and viewing people as generally good, just sometimes stuck in an ego pattern or old story.

MATT NELISSEN.
Educated as an engineer, I worked as a consultant for most of my career. Long-term collaborations with corporates; realizing projects and guiding them through organizational and cultural transformations.
A big passion of mine has been sports, all my life. Rowing, cycling, martial arts. I especially love rowing in a team. Training together, enduring the pain, enjoying when you make the boat “run", the excitement and pride when you have a perfect race. To be dedicated towards a goal with our team, self-organised, without a 'leader' or coach, and win World Cups together for 40+ years in a row.
I always wondered why work couldn’t be like that. Big surprise when tI found out that there were companies who operated much like this kind of sports team.
Later in my career, I realized the importance of your way of being. Because it all comes down to who are you, and what you want, deep inside. What you believe, and the dream you have in your heart. And what you doubt, and tell yourself is not possible, or not for you.
When breath work came on my path 15 years ago it brought more clarity, openness, more authenticity. I have seen the impact it has had on me, as well as on the people I have had the opportunity to guide as a Certified Breathwork Coach for the past 5 years. More than anything, the daily practice has made me feel more alive, and free to be myself.
