WELCOME
This month we empower you to reflect on & practice Holistic Self Care.
Holistic self-care is all conscious actions to feel good on all 4 dimensions:
-
Physically: a body that is healthy, strong, flexible, rarely sick
-
Mentally: calm, focused, with peace of mind
-
Emotionally: stable, positive, open, responsive rather than reactive.
-
Spiritually: connected, on purpose, authentic
What you need to feel good can be different for each of us.
Both in terms of which habits, when, but also the frequency.
For some it means doing more, for others it means doing less.
Which habits will benefit you in the long run & your whole being?
Only you know this answer for yourself.
We provide you tools, and inspiration to listen to yourself & carve your self-care habits accordingly. .
A month focused on self-love, self-care, observation & acceptance of ourselves.
" A FIT BODY, A CALM MIND, A HOUSE FULL OF LOVE.
THESE THINGS CAN'T BE BOUGHT, THEY MUST BE EARNED."
- Naval Ravikant

STORY.
.
This guided meditation aims to help you identify the daily choices that you abandon yourself. Every choice is love- or fear-based. The fear is always the fear of dying, and the fear of abandonment. This is a subconscious state. We need to feel safe, seen and heard.
This is what the inner child always wants.
But what about abandoning the self? When are we betraying the self? When we listen to news that stressed us? When we binge eat? When we work more than we can mentally or physically handle? When we are over-exercising? When do we engage in toxic relationships? When we are saying yes to avoid hurting others? When we are having negative thoughts? When we self criticise?
This is what self-abandonment looks like.

MEDITATION.
YOGA NIDRA.
A Ritual is a sacred practice to reconnect with our true selves, our purpose. A way to rewrite limiting beliefs we have and strengthen empowering beliefs about ourselves
Looking ourselves in the eye in front of a mirror and saying words intentionally, and out loud, is a very powerful way to trigger our consciousness on what matters to us.
This months ritual is based upon that principle & wisdom.
This Yoga Nidra practice will help us to train the mind to follow our will.
In order to befriend the monkey mind and relax its need to control us, we need to train the subconscious mind to follow, before we train the conscious.
Even if Yoga Nidra means ‘Yogic sleep’, it's the most awakening practice.
This practice will bring you to a state of conscious awareness while you rest deeply.
It’s an effective and efficient way to access "rest&digest-mode", which is where healing really happens.
The practise of Yoga Nidra or Shakti Nidra that we use in this program is the softest way of practising Yoga Nidra.
That means that it has no guidance or symbolism, it's totally safe and it aims to bring your physical body, your conscious mind and your nervous system to deep relaxation.
Years of anxiety, stress, insomnia, depression and self-limitations can really improve or even heal with Yoga Nidra.
Chronic pain, trauma, difficulty in conceiving in women and so much more, are cases that can also be improved with Yoga Nidra.
30 minutes of Yoga Nidra is equivalent to 4 hours' sleep.
You can practice this Yoga Nidra before you get up in the morning, just set an alarm 30 min earlier, stay in bed and just listen.
Otherwise, you can practice during the day.
Enjoy!

AFFORMATIONS.
Afformations are the question form of an affirmation. When we repeat a forced affirmation like "I am enough", when we spent 20-30 years believing the opposite, it takes longer for the subconscious mind to accept it as a fact.
Research shows that it's easier for the subconscious mind to say yes to a question form of this affirmation: 'Am I enough?'. It's easier to believe our own Yes, of course, I am enough, rather than the forced affirmation.
Afformations do not create any tension or sense of forcing reality.
We invite you to write those down in your journal that resonates most with you and repeat them often during your day.
