WHY IT MATTERS.

The majority (64% Gallup 2020; 70% Instant Print study 2021.) of companies have toxic cultures. The pandemic has amplified this growing trend. Inside those companies there is no enthusiasm, an intense fear of failure, gossip, focus on egocentric wins, constant dysfunction & drama, and a high turnover (the good people leave first).

Toxic Cultures are the #1 driver for the 'Great Resignation', as well as for founders to leave their own company.

Culture is always a reflection of its leadership, past or present. In toxic cultures people act from a place of fear, and disconnection (ego). In thriving people act from love, and interdependence (purpose).

Work should be a place where we connect, develop, thrive, and create positive ripple effects.

Not a place where we feed stress, burnouts, bore-outs, and other harmful ripples. 

 

We believe most people are good.

THE WHY BEHIND IT.

In order to smoothly achieve your teams vision or goals, it is crucial to resolve bottlenecks that might be in the way. Mapping out and solving challenges rapidly is a key skill of winning teams. 

SETUP.

Part 1: Which habits, rules, and systems are holding us back? Identify cultural bottlenecks, as well as procedural ones. Get honest, fill a wall with 99 problems together. Categorize & rank them on the impact & effort matrix.

 

Part 2: Select low-hanging fruit to practice dialogue techniques to rapidly understand and solve them together on the spot. Select more complex problems, to practice dialogue techniques to better understand the root cause(s) and sharpen the question to solve.

  3. Practice techniques & tools to unlearn ego-modes in daily life. 

 

OUTCOME.

Understanding why you are wired the way you are and realising that it is not static. You can decide how you react to a trigger. You are not the victim of your own life. You can practice awareness, to let go of or soften your ego-modes to prevent toxic patterns within the team.

When it comes to giving and receiving feedback people often get awkward, defensive, disengaged, or manipulating. What if feedback conversation was something you looked forward to? You even asked for pro-actively? When you view your team members as a key factor to achieving your personal and professional dreams faster, feedback becomes a different game. 
 

SETUP.

Shift the paradigm of how we view giving and receiving feedback. Create a safe space for role playing a 360 feedback (keep doing / stop doing / start doing) applying newly learned principles​. Practice simple & super-effective feedback and dialogue techniques to boost continuous personal development. 
 

OUTCOME.

Let go of need to be perfect. Choosing to LEARN over the need to KNOW. See your team members not as competition, but as mirrors to exponentially grow as a person. Practiced honest, kind conversation. Built trust within the team. Set a continuous feedback rhythm, and received input for their personal roadmap.
