From working with 400+ teams in the past decade, I know how important it is to have a winning team to make any idea work. And I have learned how to set the right conditions to create winning teams. Specialised for a C-level, senior or junior team. 

I am known to create safe spaces, where people can have truthful conversations. I guide team dialogues to make complex problems simple (break them down & understand them at the core) and to find practical solutions on the spot. 

I get excited when a team takes ownership and feels confident & capable that they can overcome any challenge together. That energy makes a team unstoppable.

MATT NELISSEN

Matt (73) has been coaching founders, scale ups, and management teams for the past 45 years.  He is also a certified breathwork coach and practitioner for the past 10 years, guiding people to heal old traumas stored in the body that limit their full potential.  

 

He is an engineer by degree, and a learner at heart. He has guided many large companies through cultural transformations, always putting the people at the heart of change. In those 40 years he experienced more & more that "It's not about changing minds, it's about changing hearts". He is fascinated by why some companies are buzzing of energy & innovation, and others are filled with apathy or even toxicity. In his view, making room for passion is key.

 

And it's not only our environment that can limit this passion, or freedom of expression, it's also within ourselves. Breathwork has been an approach for him to free himself of old rigid beliefs that kept him stuck, fearful or doubting himself. It's been a lifetime journey from not breathing when he was born, to allowing himself to breathe, to take up space, to follow his heart. 

 

His energy is calm, open, and focused. He is known to create safe spaces for open dialogues. Matt has been rowing at a world-class level for the past 55 years and started Karate at 56, and now has a black belt & 4th dan degree. He is a living example of never being too old to learn, or pursuing your passion.

HOW WE COLLABORATE. 

  • Together we design a customised program built up out of the modules relevant for your team.

  • The 5-day sprint (1 work week) is in person to ensure connection, quality & impact.

  • It is facilitated by me, and I also provide an outside-in perspective on the content

  • The sprint days are from 10.00-16.30h (that way we leave 1 hour before & after the workshops for the team to do some of their important day-to-day work) 

  • Beforehand & afterwards our Team KPI's are measured via a survey to track the impact.

  • 2 self-assessments that need to be completed one week before. 

  • 2-hour preparation session with the team the week before.

  • 2x a 1-hour session for aftercare. (1 week & 1 month after the sprint week)

  • The deliverables are delivered by the end of the sprint week.

Without fuel, even the best car doesn't get anywhere. This is more than just setting a goal and assessing the resources needed to get there. You need a shared vision, a role, with an urgency to fulfil, to solve a problem you deeply care about. That drives you intrinsically. It is the core question that any business and team should ask themselves:  "why are we here?"  

SETUP

  • What does our landscape look like right now? How is the emerging future unfolding? 

  • How can we anticipate this emerging future? How do we serve society and nature? What is our added value? Why does it matter?

WHY IT MATTERS.
We bring our whole selves to work whether we want to or not. Our dreams, our fears. Our higher self, and our inner child. And we can have a distorted way of viewing the world, based on old stories of our past. It leads to pleasing, proving to, hiding for, or ignoring others. We call these ego-modes. And it highly affects the way we collaborate & are able to connect.  The big question here is: "How am I in my own way?".
