WHY IT MATTERS.
In theory, companies are ideal places to provide all 4.
Unfortunately, 70% of all companies are leaning towards the opposite. (64% Gallup 2020; 70% Instant Print study 2021.)
Workplaces where people feel limited, stuck, stressed, demotivated, drained, unsafe, isolated, misunderstood, meaningless and bored. Inside those companies there is no enthusiasm, an intense fear of failure, gossip, focus on egocentric wins, constant dysfunction & drama, and a high turnover (the good people leave first).
Toxic Cultures are the #1 driver for the 'Great Resignation', as well as for founders to leave their own company.
It’s such a waste.
Waste of potential, time, energy, resources, and impact that could have happened.
Let’s reimagine what work & organizations could look like.
Could feel like.
Company Culture is always a reflection of its leadership, past or present. In toxic cultures, people act from a place of fear, and disconnection (ego). In thriving people act from love, and interdependence (purpose).
My mission is to guide teams to untie the knots so they can be in flow and create massive waves of impact, while continuously developing themselves and working in a healthy, energizing environment.
We can shift toxic patterns & roadblocks.
Without blame, because the road to toxic cultures (hell) is paved with good intentions.
Because when we realise we are all part of the problem, we are all part of the solution.
We believe most people are good. They can just be stuck sometimes in an ego mode (old habits, stories & beliefs) or a clusterfuck of outdated systems, regulations and misunderstandings. And it can be turned around.
"
COMPANY CULTURES CAN BE CHANGED.
ONE TEAM AT A TIME.
UNTIE THE KNOT.
The solution? For teams to be on purpose, we need to invest time.
Dedicated, undisturbed time for truthful, constructive, and inspiring dialogues. Time to reflect on the difficult questions, and how to resolve whatever is holding you back.
This is a game-changing combination of my most impactful workshops for teams:
A 5.DAYS TEAM SPRINT TO "UNTIE THE KNOT"
This is your invitation to invest 5 days with your team. One fully dedicated week to create a safe space, to be honest, to get clear your purpose, and to better understand each other, and your environment.
To practice dialogue techniques to empower each other and resolve issues intelligently and effectively.
Slow down, to speed up.
It's worth it on so many levels.
"
IT MAKES SENSE TO INVEST AT LEAST AS MUCH TIME IN GETTING A TEAM ON PURPOSE, AS IN FINDING GOLDEN IDEAS.

THE IMPACT.
The 5-day sprint will empower the team to achieve business goals more effectively because:
-
Clear goals prevent wasting time on non-priorities, doubting & going in circles.
-
A shared purpose, aligned with a personal purpose increases drive & commitment.
-
Being aware of our ego modes and practising truthful dialogues prevents conflict & misunderstandings.
-
Removing cultural roadblocks increases efficiency & decreases frustration.
-
Embodying a learning culture, with feedback loops & problem-solving techniques enables the team to solve any challenge within their influence.
-
A personal development roadmap connected to overcoming your ego-modes & being your best self at work, and increases effectiveness, loyalty, and well-being.
-
Systematically supporting each other on their roadmap & patterns to unlearn, increases the team's understanding, trust & connection.
In short,
Less fear, means less ego, means more truthful conversations,
means better decisions, means more impact in less time.

Expert in the field of leadership & team development, company-wide cultural transformations and implementing new ways of working & coaching innovation teams.
My background in Organizational Psychology (Ma), and Organizational Culture & Sciences (Ma) makes me aware of the subtle nuances of human behaviour.
From working with 400+ teams in the past decade, I know how important it is to have a winning team to make any idea work. And I have learned how to set the right conditions to create winning teams. Specialised for a C-level, senior or junior team.
I am known to create safe spaces, where people can have truthful conversations. I guide team dialogues to make complex problems simple (break them down & understand them at the core) and to find practical solutions on the spot.
I get excited when a team takes ownership and feels confident & capable that they can overcome any challenge together. That energy makes a team unstoppable.
MATT NELISSEN.
Matt (73) has been coaching founders, scale ups, and management teams for the past 45 years. He is also a certified breathwork coach and practitioner for the past 10 years, guiding people to heal old traumas stored in the body that limit their full potential.
He is an engineer by degree, and a learner at heart. He has guided many large companies through cultural transformations, always putting the people at the heart of change. In those 40 years he experienced more & more that "It's not about changing minds, it's about changing hearts". He is fascinated by why some companies are buzzing of energy & innovation, and others are filled with apathy or even toxicity. In his view, making room for passion is key.
And it's not only our environment that can limit this passion, or freedom of expression, it's also within ourselves. Breathwork has been an approach for him to free himself of old rigid beliefs that kept him stuck, fearful or doubting himself. It's been a lifetime journey from not breathing when he was born, to allowing himself to breathe, to take up space, to follow his heart.
His energy is calm, open, and focused. He is known to create safe spaces for open dialogues. Matt has been rowing at a world-class level for the past 55 years and started Karate at 56, and now has a black belt & 4th dan degree. He is a living example of never being too old to learn, or pursuing your passion.

HOW DO YOU FEEL
NOW.
"
WHY IT MATTERS.
Before jumping into future visions, assessing the status quo is the best place to start.
It's easy to get lost in your head. Too rational. Disconnected from yourself & others.
Or to be too busy to pause & reflect on how you feel, or to share openly how we feel about ourselves and where we are as a team.
SETUP.
-
Create a safe space to share in an open, truthful way.
-
Reflect on how you feel personally. What is important for the team to know?
-
Reflect on where you are right now as a team. How do you feel about that?
-
Reflect on where you are heading as a team. How does that make you feel?
OUTCOME.
-
Team members feel more relieved, heard & understood.
-
Old judgements or misunderstandings have been cleared.
-
Trust is increased, and feeling open & free of shame or guilt is key in order to be creative, intuitive, and authentic. And thus, the ability to solve problems wisely.
"
#2
FUEL
YOUR PURPOSE.
"
WHY IT MATTERS.
Without fuel, even the best car doesn't get anywhere. This is more than just setting a goal and assessing the resources needed to get there. You need a shared vision, a role, with an urgency to fulfil, to solve a problem you deeply care about. That drives you intrinsically. It is the core question that any business and team should ask themselves: "why are we here?"
SETUP.
-
What does our landscape look like right now? How is the emerging future unfolding?
-
How can we anticipate this emerging future? How do we serve society and nature? What is our added value? Why does it matter?
-
How does this company serve us individually and as a team?
-
What is a problem you deeply care about and have the skills, network etc to solve?
-
What dream do you have in your heart, in terms of what do you want to learn, earn, impact & how do you want to work?
OUTCOME.
-
This workshop helps to clarify a practical purpose, that gives guidance to define priorities, goals, and values on how to get there. And to remove or adjust the parts that don't add value, but actually just noise. To come back to the core, and work with excitement on what truly matters.
