Everything in our life is a mirror, a whisper. What triggers us, means that we can learn something. When we feel disrespected, this shows us we might haven't been respecting ourselves.
It’s not about the other person. It’s not about who is wrong or right in that specific situation.
It's about zooming out & looking at the situation and asking: Is it true? And moreover, who am I when I hold on to the thought (How do I think, feel, behave?)
In the end, the world doesn't owe us anything. We cannot force love, belonging, respect, acceptance, validation, understanding etc.
They all come naturally. The only one blocking them are we, ourselves.
Observe, stay open & curious.
What is there to learn for me? Like a surgeon, cutting the issues into pieces, by applying curiosity & compassion; which parts are his/her business, and part of their struggle? And which ones are merely a reflection of my own?
