Who’s also done with ‘being busy’?! Don’t get me wrong, I am ambitious, dedicated & like to work hard. But I am done with connecting being busy to being successful.

I have learned at an early age to design my day to my energy peaks & lows. I take short breaks, go for walks or runs to clear my head, I meditate & take naps. I take time to relax, laugh, call with a friend. Some days I just breathe.

It’s strange though that those things that help us to be at our best • sharp, inspired, wise, bold, connected • are the things that are sort of not done to share with our bosses, colleagues or on Social Media.

It’s Monday 15h and you are napping in your garden?! What a lazy person

I feel we should share more counterstories, of how slowing down actually can speed us up in work. How less rushing & stress is beneficial for our minds & well being. To run focused sprints & recover, rather than daily marathons that drain us.

It’s time to take care of ourselves first.

To make sure we refuel, so we can focus, and work effectively.

It’s not about proving the hours, it’s about making a meaningful impact, in a way that is sustainable for you.
